
One way to fill the long ‘Circuit Breaker’ evenings is to unwind in front of a good Netflix series. But did you know you can now also Netflix Party and hook up with friends online to host (social distancing) movie nights! Now it’s just a question of working out what to watch. Take a look at some of our current favourite binge worthy offerings…
Tiger King (15) - This seven-part true crime series explores a feud between a gun-toting, mullet-wearing, country-singing zoo owner from Oklahoma called Joe Exotic, and animal rights activist Carole Baskin, who has some secrets of her own. Honestly one of the craziest things you will ever watch.
Unorthodox (12) - A Hasidic Jewish woman in Brooklyn flees to Berlin from an arranged marriage. The incredible series is loosely based on Deborah Feldman's 2012 autobiography Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots. It is the first Netflix series to be primarily in Yiddish (with subtitles). Not to be missed!
The English Game (12) - Downton Abby meets Bend it like Beckham - The English Game is about the invention of football and how it rose to become the world's game by crossing class divides.
Atypical (12) - Part drama, part comedy; Atypical follows the experiences of loveable autistic teenager Sam Gardner. As he comes of age and seeks independence by finding love and graduating high school. A heartwarming watch every episode.
The Politician (15) - Wealthy high school student Payton Hobart has known since he was 7 years old that he is going to be the president of the United States. The first step toward that goal is to become his school's student body president.
Money Heist (18) - A criminal mastermind who goes by "The Professor" has a plan to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history -- to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain. To help him carry out the ambitious plan, he recruits eight people with certain abilities and who have nothing to lose.
Sex Education (18) - An awkward teenager starts giving sex counselling for money. Although it has a distinctly American glow, with jocks, Acapella groups and mean girls; Sex Education is set in the UK and filmed in Wales.
Stranger Things (15) - When Joyce's 12-year-old son, Will, goes missing, she launches a terrifying investigation into his disappearance with local authorities. As they search for answers, they unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries involving secret government experiments, unnerving supernatural forces, and a very unusual little girl.
Living with yourself (15) - In a cloning gone wrong, Miles... and Miles - one radiant and happy, and one miserable and tired must navigating living under the same roof, with the same wife and the same life.
Day Break (15) - Navigating a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies and "Mad Max"-style gangs, a teenage outcast searches for his lost love.
Locke and Key (15) - Following their father's murder, three siblings move into a house filled with reality-bending keys.
